As a prolific recording artist, Mary is a Melbourne/Naarm-based film composer, producer, session singer, and dynamic performer. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Music in Interactive Composition at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Originally from Sydney, Mary has been in the studio since age four, debuting on Hairspray! Australia (Sydney Lyric). She has since built an expansive portfolio across theatre, screen, and music, with credits including Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam (Belvoir), Brainstorm Productions, and over a decade of work with ABC, Nickelodeon, and other commercial clients. She has voiced and sung on Giggle and Hoot, Play School (Art Time, Science Time, News Time), Laura’s Choice (ABC), My Best Friend, and was cast in the ensemble for Nay Nay’s I Have a Voice music video. For Ready Set Dance, Mary is the current singer and voice actress in both Australian and U.S. versions, performing on over 100 original tracks with a 400M+ social reach, including collaborations with artists such as Emma Memma, on the track When we Dance Together.  She has also recorded for Nickelodeons Mum’s Unite!, Nick Junior’s Calvin and Kaison’s Play Power and voiced multiple national campaigns for Kids Helpline.

Her international work includes voicing ‘Rashid’ in both Dubai World Expo 2020 and its spinoff Rashid’s First Ramadan. Additional screen credits include Leo Day’s Unidentified Hostile Lifeforms, Five Minute Call (Simon Burke, Helen Dallimore, Daniel Edmonds), Lara Buchanan’s Bird Cage, and Zachary Suaze’s Watermelon.

A graduate of the prestigious Talent Development Project (2023), Mary recorded her original single I Don’t Care with Phillippe Marc Anquetil at Studios 301, alongside session work for fellow TDP artists. She contributed voiceover and ensemble vocals to TAU’s The Hole Idea, at Trackdown Studios, recorded demos for the APRA AMCOS Music Theatre Writers Workshop with Eddie Perfect and Michele Gould at Church Street Studios, and completed work experience at the sound desk for Sydney Royals Jagged Little Pill, and also with composer Guy Gross.

As a songwriter and producer, Mary has released multiple self-produced tracks including 2 U, Little Things, Back to You, and Like a Salad, and Funny, Delicate and Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door under the alias Moony Otis. She also composes for short film and media, with scoring, sound design, and foley credits on a broad slate of VCA student films and projects including Wishbone, Grace, The Siren and the Sailor, Dinner Date, Shock, and Sewing Machine (for the Percy Grainger Museum).

Mary’s early career was shaped through extensive work with the NSW Department of Education’s Arts Unit. She was selected as a Featured Artist in the 2023 Schools Spectacular, a Backing Vocalist in 2022, and a soloist for the ANZAC Day Ceremony in Hyde Park and The Nutcracker at the Sydney Coliseum with the Sydney Youth Orchestra Philharmonic and the Tanya Pearson Academy. She was a soloist at State Music Camp and Solo Vocal Camp, and hosted TAU In Concert with Kate Miller-Heidke. In 2024, Mary was selected for ENCORE! and closed the HSC Top Achievers Showcase at the Sydney Opera House with her performance of Rain on My Parade.

Mary has performed in musical theatre since childhood, with roles including Matilda (lead), Plan B (lead, feature film musical), Tarzan, and Bring It On. Her stage and headliner performances include the TDP Graduation Showcase at ICC Sydney, her solo cabaret All Falls Down, and singing for Kate Miller-Heidke’s Caught in the Crowd for the Child in Reverse tour.

Mary trains professionally with vocal coaches Karen Bruce and Darren Mapes and has completed intensives with NIDA and ATYP, developing strong performance technique under artists such as Yve Blake and Toby Francis across musical theatre, film, and stage acting.
